Review

Crikey, have you heard Zac Brown Band's 'Jekyll + Hyde'? This album's a bloody ripper, mates! It's like a musical buffet, serving up a smorgasbord of genres from country to rock, with a side of metal and even a cheeky bit of electronic music. The lads have really gone all out, pushing the envelope and showing off their versatility.

You've gotta give 'em credit for their gutsy move. They've taken a leap, mixing things up with tracks like 'Heavy Is the Head' featuring Chris Cornell, and 'Young and Wild'. It's not your typical country fare, that's for sure. But don't worry, they haven't forgotten their roots. You'll still find some heartfelt country tunes like 'Loving You Easy' and 'Dress Blues' - the latter being a real standout, originally penned by Jason Isbell.

Now, I'll be straight with you - not everyone's gonna love this musical rollercoaster. Some reckon it's a bit all over the shop, lacking that cohesive feel. And yeah, the production's copped some flak for being a tad too bright. But you know what? I reckon it's pretty damn impressive. It shows the Zac Brown Band aren't afraid to take risks and try something new. They're pushing the boundaries of what country music can be, and that's something to celebrate, don't you think? - Ruby
