With Confidence's debut 'Better Weather' dropped in 2016 and totally captures what makes these Aussie dudes rock! Their sound throws it back to when Blink-182 and New Found Glory were all over TRL, but with their own fresh spin. 'Voldemort' and 'Keeper' are straight-up earworms that'll have you singing along like it's 2003 and you're rocking a Von Dutch hat. The band doesn't just rely on studio magic either - they keep it real with actual instruments, which is super refreshing in an era when everything's getting more digital than a Tamagotchi.
'Dinner Bell' and 'Keys' show these guys know how to hit you with the feels without being cheesy about it. Sure, the album occasionally loses its way - that piano ballad feels a bit like when your mom would make you wear a sweater to a cool party - but who doesn't stumble a little on their first time out? 'Better Weather' gives us all the classic pop-punk vibes with enough originality to keep things interesting. It's like the musical equivalent of finding an unopened pack of Dunkaroos in 2025 - nostalgic but still totally worth experiencing. - Kyle
