Review

“Never Enough” roars in like a defiant exhale—a record that’s as much about Turnstile owning every corner of their sound as it is about pushing its limits. It’s raw, heavy, and wildly inventive—melodic hardcore’s spirit infused with moments of unexpected shimmer. There’s flute in “Sunshower,” cello in “Never Enough,” synth touches, and even a dream-pop sheen that flirts with the softer side of alternative — all without giving up that muscle.

It’s cinematic in scope yet hammers with the blunt force of its hardcore roots. Whether powering through bone-rattling riffs or pirouetting around experimental textures, the album never feels self-indulgent—just confidently expansive. Every turn of the volume knob feels earned, and every daring flourish lands with impact. - Trent
