Review

Let me tell you about "Blue Sky and the Devil" by Trampled by Turtles. This album is a real firecracker! Released in 2005, it's the second studio album from these guys from Duluth, Minnesota, and it's bursting with energy from start to finish.

I absolutely love how they blend bluegrass, folk, and punk influences. It's like they took these different genres, threw them in a blender, and came out with something totally unique and exciting. The banjos and fiddles are just flying, backed up by that thumping upright bass. It's the kind of music that makes you want to get up and dance, even if you've got two left feet like me!

The album's got 13 tracks, and they're all pretty darn catchy. Songs like "I'm A Target Too" and "Nowhere To Hide" really stick with you. And can we talk about that production quality? It's crisp and clear, but still keeps that raw, live feel that makes you feel like you're right there in the room with them. Recorded at Dirty Old Town Studios, they really nailed the sound on this one. It's no wonder "Blue Sky and the Devil" is considered a standout in their discography. - Sienna
