Review

Let me tell you about 'Ænima' by TOOL. This album is a real mind-bender, and I'm not just talking about the weird spelling of the title! It's the kind of music that makes you feel like you're on a wild rollercoaster ride through someone's twisted psyche. Justin Chancellor joined the band on bass for this one, and boy, did he make his presence felt.

David Bottrill produced this bad boy, and he really brought out the best in TOOL's sound. The way they blend heavy riffs with these intricate, almost delicate moments is just incredible. And don't even get me started on the lyrics - they're deep, man. It's like they're trying to purge your soul and mess with your head at the same time.

'Ænima' isn't just a great album, it's a freakin' game-changer. It shot up to number 2 on the Billboard charts and went triple platinum. Hell, they even won a Grammy for the title track. But more than that, it's left a lasting mark on rock music. When I listen to songs like 'Stinkfist' or 'Eulogy', I still get chills. It's no wonder this album keeps popping up on all those "greatest of all time" lists. - Sienna
