Tommy Richman is a singer-rapper from Woodbridge, Virginia who began posting music on SoundCloud in 2016, mixing laid-back R&B with flashes of G-funk and punk rock. After early singles and the 2022 EP Paycheck, he signed to Brent Faiyaz’s ISO Supremacy label in 2023 and opened on Faiyaz’s F*ck the World, It’s a Wasteland tour. His breakout came in 2024 when a TikTok clip of “Million Dollar Baby” went viral, sending the song to No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 and onto Barack Obama’s summer playlist. He kept the momentum with his debut album Coyote that year and follow-up singles like “Devil Is a Lie,” “Actin Up” and 2025’s “Miami.” Fans of Brent Faiyaz, Steve Lacy and Dominic Fike will likely vibe with his off-center R&B grooves and melodic rap.
