Review

Y'all, let me tell you 'bout Toby Keith's "Unleashed" album. This here's his seventh rodeo in the studio, and boy, did he bring the heat! Released back in August of '02, it's got a little somethin' for everyone - from toe-tappin' party tunes to heart-tuggin' ballads.

Now, I reckon you've heard "Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue (The Angry American)" - that song stirred up quite a hornet's nest with its patriotic fire. But don't you go thinkin' this album's all stars and stripes. Keith teamed up with ol' Willie Nelson for "Beer for My Horses," which is catchier than a fish hook. And let me tell you, "Who's Your Daddy?" will have you singin' along faster than a jackrabbit on a date.

This album didn't just do well, it done hit the big time. Topped the Billboard 200 chart and went 4× Platinum, if you can believe it. Four of its songs made it to the Hot Country Songs charts, with three of 'em reachin' number one. It's clear as day that Toby Keith knows how to serve up some grade-A country music, and "Unleashed" is proof positive of that. - Jackson
