Review

Three Days Grace's 'One-X' is a fucking powerhouse of an album! Released in 2006, this sophomore effort hits like a sledgehammer to the face with its raw emotion and explosive sound. The addition of Barry Stock as lead guitarist brought a new level of intensity to the band's already hard-hitting style.

From the moment you press play, you're hit with a wall of sound that doesn't let up. Tracks like 'It's All Over' and 'Animal I Have Become' are absolute monsters, with crunching riffs and Adam Gontier's vocals tearing through your speakers. And holy shit, 'Riot' is a beast of a song that'll have you banging your head till your neck snaps!

But it's not all balls-to-the-wall aggression. 'Never Too Late' and 'Get Out Alive' show the band's softer side without losing their edge. The lyrics on this album are intense as hell, with Gontier pouring his heart out about addiction and isolation. It's personal shit, man, and you can feel every ounce of pain and struggle in his voice. This album's a triple-platinum beast for a reason - it's relentless, honest, and packed with tracks that'll stick in your head long after the final note fades. Three Days Grace nailed it with 'One-X', delivering a record that's both heavy as fuck and deeply moving. - Ben
