Review

You know, I've always had a soft spot for 'Bringing Down the Horse' by the Wallflowers. It's one of those albums that just grabs you and doesn't let go. The way Jakob Dylan writes, it's like he's telling you stories about feeling totally crushed by life, but somehow it doesn't bring you down. It's weirdly uplifting, you know?

T Bone Burnett's production on this album is just *chef's kiss*. It's got this rich, full sound that makes you feel like you're right there in the room with the band. And don't even get me started on 'One Headlight' - that song is an absolute banger! It's no wonder it snagged two Grammys and topped the charts.

I love how the Wallflowers blend folk and rock on this album. It's got this Tom Petty vibe going on, especially with that B-3 organ. And speaking of Petty, how cool is it that Mike Campbell from the Heartbreakers shows up on '6th Avenue Heartache'? It's like they're passing the torch or something. This album really put the Wallflowers on the map, and I can totally see why it went quadruple platinum. It's just that good! - Sienna
