Review
"Swan Song" by The Plot In You is a real gut-punch of an album. Released in September 2021, it's the band's fifth studio effort and man, does it pack a wallop. Landon Tewers and Drew Fulk took the production reins on this one, and they've crafted something that's both hard-hitting and deeply moving. The tracks "Face Me," "Paradigm," and "Enemy" are standouts, blending raw emotion with some seriously impressive musicianship.
Tewers' lyrics on this album are like an open wound - honest, painful, but ultimately healing. He dives deep into personal struggles and the journey towards something better. The music itself is a perfect match, with heavy riffs and strings that'll give you goosebumps. And Tewers' vocals? The guy's got range, from soft and melodic to full-on screams that'll rattle your bones. The production is slick too, with Alex Ohagan lending an extra hand to really make those sounds pop. If you're into rock that doesn't pull its punches but still hits you in the heart, "Swan Song" is definitely worth a listen. - Ethan
