Review

Hey there, music fans! Prepare yourselves for a wild ride with The Orion Experience's debut album, 'Cosmicandy'. This 2006 gem is a spicy fusion of disco, pop, and indie rock that will have you grooving and singing along in no time. The album's infectious energy is like a shot of espresso to your musical soul, thanks to its catchy hooks, smooth harmonies, and undeniable zest.

But let's not forget, 'Cosmicandy' isn't just about the beat - it's got some serious lyrical depth too. The band tackles a range of themes like debauchery, love, anti-war, and anti-commercialism with a refreshing blend of wit and irreverence. Songs like 'Cult of Dionysus' and 'Blood & Money' prove that the Orion Experience can party hard while still maintaining a sharp, clever edge. Plus, with musical nods to The Cars, Blondie, Green Day, and ABBA, 'Cosmicandy' is a retro-infused bop that'll keep you coming back for more.- Tessa
