Review

"14:59" by Sugar Ray is a pop-rock classic from 1999 that shows these guys know how to create some seriously addictive tunes. Kicking things off, "New Direction" is a short but sweet intro that sets the stage perfectly. And then boom—"Every Morning" hits you with its infectious hooks and memorable riffs. It’s got additional magic from A. Zarate, David Kahne, P. Tellez, and R. Bean, making it the track that sticks in your head for days.

But don't think for a second it's all just sunshine and peppy beats. "Falls Apart" slows things down, giving you a taste of the band's introspective side. Then there’s "Personal Space Invader," featuring a slick sample from Boogie Down Productions and a killer guest spot by KRS-One. From the introspective vibes of "Ode To The Lonely Hearted" to the fun nostalgia of their Steve Miller cover "Abracadabra," Sugar Ray nails it. "14:59" is a brilliant example of blending styles and keeping things fresh. - Nikki
