Review

Let me tell you about "Purple" by Stone Temple Pilots. This album is a real treat, and I've been obsessed with it lately. It's wild how they managed to record the whole thing in less than a month, but man, did they nail it!

What I love about "Purple" is how it's not just one style. Sure, you've got your classic STP heavy hitters like "Vasoline" and "Unglued," but then they throw you for a loop with tracks like "Interstate Love Song" that's got this country vibe, and "Big Empty" with its bluesy feel. It's like a musical buffet, and I'm here for it all!

Scott Weiland's lyrics on this album really hit home for me. He dives into some heavy stuff, talking about relationships and his own struggles. Songs like "Meatplow" and "Still Remains" just stick with you, you know? And don't even get me started on "Pretty Penny" - it's this stripped-down acoustic number that somehow manages to sound like Led Zeppelin and a cozy campfire singalong at the same time. It's just so good! - Sienna
