Review

Let me tell you, 'Madness' by Sleeping With Sirens is a wild ride that'll leave you breathless. Released in 2015, this album is where the band decided to crank up the pop-rock dial while still keeping one foot firmly planted in their post-hardcore roots. It's like they took their sound, threw it in a blender with some sugar and spice, and hit puree.

The lead single 'Kick Me' is a perfect example of this new direction. Kellin Quinn's vocals are a force of nature, swinging from soft and sweet to in-your-face intense faster than you can headbang. And let me tell you, the whole album is packed with these massive, anthemic choruses that'll have you pumping your fist and feeling like you can take on the world.

What's really cool is the story behind the album. These guys were basically flying without a net - no label, no cash, just pure rock 'n' roll spirit. And you can feel that raw energy in every track. It's like they took all that chaos and uncertainty and turned it into 13 tracks (plus a couple of bonus jams) of pure, unadulterated emotion. No wonder it hit No. 13 on the Billboard 200 and sold over 34,000 copies in its first week. 'Madness' isn't just an album title, it's a perfect description of the journey Sleeping With Sirens took to create this beast of a record. - Scarlett
