Artist Bio

Sidney Gish is an indie singer-songwriter and producer from Randolph, New Jersey, who started releasing music on Bandcamp in 2015 while still a teenager. After moving to Boston to study Music Business at Northeastern University, she became an active figure in the city's indie scene, putting out well-received albums like *Ed Buys Houses* and *No Dogs Allowed*, the latter earning Boston Music Awards' Album of the Year in 2018. Her style mixes witty lyricism and DIY production, drawing comparisons to artists like Mitski, Frankie Cosmos, and Alex G. Gish has opened for acts such as Mitski and toured with Camp Cope, reflecting her collaborative presence in the indie world, and she appeared on the Sub Pop Singles Club in 2023. Her work is marked by a strong solo and self-produced approach, rooted in her early days on platforms like Tumblr and Bandcamp.
