Review

'LSD' is the definition of what happens when three absolute icons crash their creative worlds together without a safety net. Labrinth, Sia, and Diplo formed this supergroup and absolutely ate with this 2019 debut that's giving psychedelic pop realness in the best way possible. The whole vibe is straight-up chaotic good energy - one minute you're vibing to trap beats, the next you're catching gospel hooks that make you wanna testify. Their chemistry is lowkey unmatched, creating this colorful explosion that somehow makes perfect sense despite being a whole mood swing in just 30 minutes.

'Thunderclouds' is where they really snapped, turning what could've been just another pop anthem into something that feels like floating through a music festival on another planet. The way Sia's vocals cut through Labrinth's weird-but-it-works arrangements while Diplo keeps everything locked down with those signature electronic flourishes? Literal perfection. 'Welcome to the Wonderful World Of...' and 'Genius' show these three didn't come to play – they came to push boundaries while still delivering bops that stick in your head for days.

What's kinda wild is how they managed to make something that's radio-friendly without selling their souls to the algorithm. 'Mountains' could easily dominate any playlist, but it's still got that experimental edge that makes you do a double-take. Sure, there are moments where the album goes a little all over the place, but that's literally the point? It's giving controlled chaos, and I'm totally here for artists who aren't afraid to color outside the lines while still serving absolute bangers. The trio created something that's both commercially viable and artistically adventurous – and that's the tea. - Morgan
