Review

Let's dive into "Disclaimer II" by Seether—a perfectly shaken cocktail of hard rock remnants and newly distilled spirits. Picking up their debut "Disclaimer" and setting it aflame in the forge of transformation, they give us a concoction that's anything but watered-down. Remixing those original twelve tracks with lead guitar bravado and the percussive pulse from newly crowned drummer John Humphrey, Seether showcases a rock evolution that would make Darwin roll over in melodic appreciation.

Now, if "Broken" was a tender acoustic heartache, its duet incarnation with Evanescence’s Amy Lee is an electrified anthem that crackles with emotional voltage. A strategic guest appearance on the "Punisher" soundtrack no less played cupid to the track’s success story, turning it into quite the heart-throbber. Tossing in bonus goodies like "Hang On," "Out of My Way," and "Fine Again," listeners also get a peek at their cinematic cameos. "Disclaimer II" holds its ground in Seether's repertoire, much like a reimagined time capsule that propels their sonic legacy rather than letting it gather dust. - Dave
