Review

*Homecoming* by Scarlet House is a raw and explosive album, packing a punch with its blend of grunge and alternative rock. The 13 tracks on this mixtape are all about capturing emotion and intensity, with each chord and lyric radiating a visceral energy. Songs like "Let Go" stand out for their poignant lyrics and powerful instrumentation, while "Far," "Run," and "Lost" seamlessly balance melancholy with explosive crescendos. The live-wire production keeps the momentum going without losing any clarity.

Despite being rooted in familiar territory, *Homecoming* stands tall through its unapologetic honesty, making Scarlet House a force to be reckoned with in the evolving alternative-rock scene. With the kind of aliveness you can't help but get swept up in, *Homecoming* is a collection that never falters, instantly drawing you in and keeping you there for the entire ride.- Ruby
