Review

I've been listening to "Restless Mind" by Sam Barber, and I gotta say, it's really something special. The album's got a rootsy, country feel to it, kinda like Zach Bryan's style, with a whole lot of heart and emotion poured into every track. Sam's got a real gift for conveying heartbreak and personal struggles through his music, and songs like "Thought of You" and "S.O.B." are just gut-wrenching. He's got a unique vocal style that's all his own, and it's really starting to resonate with folks.

The album's also got some great collaborations with other artists, like Avery Anna and Lily Fitts, which adds a nice layer of diversity to the tracks. And let me tell you, his cover of Tyler Childers' "Jersey Giant" is just fantastic - it's got so much energy and heart. Sam's songwriting is really raw and honest, and while some folks might say it's not always perfect, it's definitely relatable. He's got a way of tapping into feelings and emotions that's just really powerful.

I think what I love most about "Restless Mind" is how personal it is - Sam's really poured his heart and soul into this album, and it shows. Tracks like "V", which is about his sister, are just so intimate and reflective, it's like you're getting a glimpse into his life. And live, he's just as compelling - I've heard his shows are just amazing, with so much energy and emotional connection with the audience. If you haven't checked out "Restless Mind" yet, I'd definitely recommend giving it a listen - it's a really special album, and I think Sam Barber's gonna be a name we're hearing a lot more of in the future. - Mia
