Artist Bio

Porter Robinson is an electronic music producer and DJ from Chapel Hill, North Carolina, who started making waves in the EDM scene as a teenager, especially after releasing his Spitfire EP on Skrillex's OWSLA label in 2011. Over the years, his sound has shifted from high-energy EDM to more melodic and introspective styles, as heard on his albums Worlds (2014), Nurture (2021), and SMILE :D (2024), which explores pop-punk and hyperpop influences. Robinson is known for blending genres like electropop, synth-pop, and early 2000s rave, with a standout collaboration being "Shelter" with Madeon. He has played at major festivals and is recognized for both his innovative production approach and the emotional depth of his music.
