Review

"All We Know Is Falling" hit the scene like a caffeinated teenager on a sugar rush, and man, did it leave a mark. Paramore's debut album is a rollercoaster of teenage angst and raw energy that'll make you want to dye your hair and start a garage band. Hayley Williams' vocals are like a punch to the gut - in the best way possible. She belts out those lyrics like she's trying to wake up the neighbors, and I'm here for it.

The album's got this whole "bassist left the band" vibe going on, which is pretty on-brand for the emo-tinged pop-punk scene of the mid-2000s. But instead of wallowing in misery, Paramore channeled that drama into tracks like "Pressure" and "Emergency" that'll have you jumping around your room like you're at a sweaty basement show. It's the kind of music that makes you want to scream along at the top of your lungs, even if you can't hit those high notes (trust me, I've tried).

While it didn't exactly set the charts on fire right away, "All We Know Is Falling" slowly but surely wormed its way into the hearts of angsty teens everywhere. It's like that friend who shows up to the party late but ends up being the life of it. The album eventually snagged some gold certifications and cemented Paramore's place in the pop-punk pantheon. Not bad for a bunch of kids from Tennessee, huh? - Leo
