Review

'Top Shotta' drops like a stack of bricks, y'all. NLE Choppa's debut album is a wild ride through the streets, serving up 20 tracks that'll have your head nodding and your mind spinning. This young blood ain't playing around - at just 18, he's spitting bars that could make veterans sweat. The production is tight, with beats that hit harder than a subway at rush hour, courtesy of some serious talent behind the boards.

Choppa's got some heavy hitters rolling with him on this one. Latto, Roddy Ricch, Chief Keef, and Lil Baby all show up to the party, adding their own flavor to the mix. But don't get it twisted - this is Choppa's show all the way. He switches up his flow like a chameleon, going from hard-hitting bangers to tracks that'll have you in your feelings. 'Walk Em Down' and 'Narrow Road' are straight fire, but it's joints like 'Gamble with My Heart' and 'Depression' that really show what this kid's made of. He's laying it all out there, raw and real, giving us a peek behind the curtain of fame and fortune. That's the kind of realness that'll keep you coming back for more. - Sable
