Review
Myles Smith's 'A Minute...' is a real gem that dropped in 2024. It's a quick little EP, but don't let that fool you - there's a lot packed into those seven tracks! I've gotta say, I'm impressed by how much ground Smith covers in just 21 minutes. It's like he's serving up a full course meal in bite-sized portions.
The production on this thing is seriously slick. Smith's blending pop vibes with some indie and electronic flavors, and it's a tasty mix. His voice is the real star of the show though - soulful and expressive, it carries the emotional weight of the lyrics beautifully. And speaking of lyrics, they're pretty darn deep. Smith's digging into some heavy stuff here, talking about love and figuring yourself out.
You know what's funny? This EP is called 'A Minute...', but it feels like time just flies by when you're listening to it. I guess that's a testament to how engaging it is. Each song feels carefully put together, like Smith's really poured his heart into every second. It's clear he's an artist on the rise, and if this EP is any indication, I'd say he's got a bright future ahead of him. Let's just hope his next release gives us more than a minute of his time! - Iris
