Review

Have you checked out Milky Chance's 'Mind The Moon'? It's their third album, and I've got to say, it's quite the journey through electronic folk territory. Released in 2019, it's a bit of a mixed bag, but there are some real gems in there.

The album kicks off with 'Fado', which has this catchy, repetitive vibe that's quintessentially Milky Chance. While some tracks tend to blend together, the collaborations definitely spice things up. I particularly enjoyed 'Rush' with Témé Tan and 'Daydreaming' featuring Tash Sultana - they bring a fresh energy to the mix.

For me, the standout track has to be 'Eden's House'. It features Ladysmith Black Mambazo, and wow, those deep, raspy voices just add so much depth to the song. The lyrics really hit home, too. While 'Mind The Moon' might not quite reach the heights of their hit 'Stolen Dance', it's still an interesting evolution of their sound. It's cool to see artists experimenting and growing, even if not every track is a home run. - Ava
