Review

*Culture II* is Migos stepping up to the plate and delivering a double-decker album stacked with killer beats and high-profile guest spots. You've got the likes of Drake, Travis Scott, Nicki Minaj, and Cardi B jumping on the mic to add their flavor. And don't sleep on the production crew - Metro Boomin, Kanye West, and Pharrell Williams bring a soundscape that's as diverse as it is dope.

Now, I know some haters are gonna say 24 tracks is overkill, that the album could've used some pruning. But I'm telling you, when you're on a roll like Migos were, you don't hold back. You fire off banger after banger, from the trap-infused "MotorSport" to the catchy-as-hell "Walk It Talk It". Sure, a track or two might get lost in the shuffle, but that's the risk you take when you're aiming for the culture. And when your album goes double platinum and takes the #10 spot on Billboard's year-end chart, you're doing something right. So yeah, *Culture II* might be a little messy, but it's the kind of chaos that makes hip hop great. - Rafe
