Artist Bio

Middle Kids are an indie rock trio from Sydney, Australia, formed in 2016 by Hannah Joy, Tim Fitz, and Harry Day. Their music blends melodic indie rock and alternative influences, anchored by Joy's powerful vocals and supported by Fitz's slide guitar work and Day's rhythmic drumming. The band first garnered attention with their breakout single "Edge of Town" in 2016 and went on to release albums like *Lost Friends*, *Today We’re the Greatest*, and *Faith Crisis Pt 1*, working with labels like Domino and producer John Gilmore. Middle Kids have toured with notable acts such as Paul Kelly and Steve Earle, and they won FBi Radio’s Northern Lights competition, which led to a performance at Iceland Airwaves. Fans of bands like Sharon Van Etten, The Jezabels, and Phoebe Bridgers might enjoy Middle Kids’ mix of heartfelt lyrics and expansive rock sound.
