Review

Yo, let's talk about Mayday Parade's 'A Lesson in Romantics'! This album dropped back in '07 and it's like, totally packed with all the feels, you know? It's got that sweet pop-punk vibe mixed with some serious emo vibes that'll take you right back to the days of studded belts and MySpace Top 8 drama.

Kenneth Mount, the producer, really brought his A-game to this one. The sound is clean and polished, like a brand new pair of Vans. But don't think for a second that means it's lacking in raw emotion. Tracks like 'Jamie All Over' and 'Miserable at Best' hit harder than a Mountain Dew and Pop Rocks combo.

The whole album flows smoother than a Razor scooter on fresh pavement. Each track leads into the next like they're holding hands at a Taking Back Sunday concert. And let's be real, the lyrics about relationship struggles on the road? That's some real talk that'll have you in your feelings faster than an AIM away message. It's the kind of album that'll make you want to bust out your old LiveJournal and start pouring your heart out all over again. - Kyle
