Artist Bio

MARINA, born Marina Lambrini Diamandis in Wales, started releasing music in 2010 with her debut album The Family Jewels, introducing her unique mix of indie pop and new wave. Known for her distinct vocals and conceptual, character-driven work, she gained further recognition when Electra Heart (2012) topped the UK charts with its synthpop sound and hits like "Primadonna." Over the years, MARINA has expanded her style across albums like Froot, Love + Fear, and Ancient Dreams In A Modern Land, each blending introspective lyrics with art-pop influences. She has collected several UK charting albums and was recognized early on as runner-up in the BBC Sound of 2010 poll.
