Review

Well, y'all, Luke Combs is back at it again with his fourth studio album, "Gettin' Old." Now, this album picks right up where his last one, "Growin' Up," left off, making them feel like two peas in a pod, tellin' tales about the twists and turns of life. Luke had a hand in writin' 15 out of the 18 songs on this record, and it's clear he’s poured his heart right into the mix. Each track is like sittin' down with an old friend who's catchin' you up on the highs and lows of life.

A couple of highlights from the album include "Growin' Up and Gettin' Old," which is as smooth as sweet tea on a summer day, capturing all those feelings of lookin' back and movin' forward. Then there’s "Love You Anyway," that soared to the top of them country charts, and rightly so, as it's a tune that’ll tug at your heartstrings. Luke also decided to surprise us with a cover of Tracy Chapman’s "Fast Car," giving a country spin to a classic. This album ain’t just for folks who’ve watched a few more sunsets – "Gettin' Old" has a little something for everyone, proving once again why Luke Combs is one of the big names in country music today. - Jackson
