Review

'Sleeper Catcher' is such a fantastic album! I've been a huge fan of Little River Band for years, and this 1978 gem really shows off their musical chops. It's got this perfect blend of rock and pop that just makes you want to sing along.

You know, it's funny - the album cover with the band playing Two-up is such a clever nod to their Aussie roots. I love little touches like that! The music itself is just as thoughtful. 'Reminiscing' and 'Shut Down Turn Off' are total earworms, but they've also got some deeper cuts that really showcase their range. 'Light of Day' is a personal favorite - it's got this atmospheric vibe that just sweeps you away.

It's no wonder 'Sleeper Catcher' was such a hit, topping charts in Australia and making waves in the US too. The production is so crisp and polished - you can really hear how the band was evolving. And those guest musicians? They add such a rich layer to the sound. It's bittersweet knowing this was George McArdle's last album with them, but what a way to go out! - Sienna
