Review

Dude, 'A Place in the Sun' by Lit is like totally rad! Released in '99, this album is a total throwback to the post-grunge era with a power pop twist. It's like Nirvana and Cheap Trick had a baby, but without all the angst. The Popoff brothers really knocked it out of the park with their songwriting, serving up some major ear candy.

You've gotta check out 'My Own Worst Enemy' - it's the ultimate jam that'll have you bouncing off the walls. It even topped the Modern Rock Tracks chart for a whopping eleven weeks! A. Jay Popoff's vocals are all that and a bag of chips, bringing the emotion without going overboard.

While some critics were all 'whatever' about it, 'A Place in the Sun' still managed to climb to #31 on the Billboard 200 and go platinum. It's like the cool older sibling to bands like Eve 6 and Good Charlotte. If you're looking for a blast from the past that still rocks, this album is your ticket to nostalgia town! - Brooke
