Artist Bio

Laura Stevenson is a singer-songwriter from Long Island, New York, who began releasing music as a solo artist in 2010 after performing with the collective Bomb the Music Industry!. Working mainly in folk rock and indie rock, she draws from a background of family musicianship and choir singing, which shapes her melodic sensibility. Stevenson’s discography includes several albums such as *A Record*, *Sit Resist*, *Wheel*, and her self-titled 2021 release, often praised for emotionally resonant songwriting. She’s toured extensively across North America and Europe and shared stages with acts like Maps & Atlases and Cults. Fans of Waxahatchee, Hop Along, and Phoebe Bridgers may find her sound especially appealing.
