Review

Larry Fleet's debut album "Stack of Records" is as solid as a stack of records - strong, steady, and always spinning true to its country spirit. Produced by Joey Moi, this 2021 release is packed with 14 tracks that touch on real-life stuff like trucks, faith, and the occasional nip of whiskey. Fleet's raspy vocals and the album's crisp production catch your attention, but it's the simplicity of the melodies that might make the record feel a tad too lengthy at times.

"Where I Find God" has already rolled in some major attention, and let me tell you, Fleet's got this country-pop thing down to a science. He seamlessly blends classic country with modern production to create an album that's undeniably catchy and easy to listen to - though maybe not breaking new ground in the lyrical or musical department. Still, "Stack of Records" is a promising start from this young artist, successfully fusing timeless country with a fresh sound. - Bailey
