Review
OMG, have you listened to Lana Del Rey's "Paradise" EP? It's such a vibe! Released in 2012, this eight-track gem is like a dreamy road trip through Lana's mind. Her sultry, melancholic style is on full display, and it's giving me all the feels!
The lead single "Ride" is an absolute stunner. Those lush strings and Lana's vocals? *Chef's kiss* And don't even get me started on the music video - it's like a mini-movie set in Vegas, totally capturing that classic Americana essence Lana's known for. But my personal fave might be her cover of "Blue Velvet" - she takes that 50s classic and makes it her own with that signature Lana twist.
This EP is packed with other amazing tracks too. "Cola" is a bit risqué but so Lana, you know? And "Bel Air" is just haunting and beautiful. The whole thing got a Grammy nom for Best Pop Vocal Album, which is totally deserved. If you're into cinematic, nostalgic vibes with a modern edge, "Paradise" is your jam! - Melody
