Lady A's '747' is a wild ride, folks. This sixth studio album from the country-pop trio is like a shot of adrenaline straight to the ears. They've cranked up the energy and dialed the pop influences to eleven, and I gotta say, it's pretty damn refreshing.
The band teamed up with a bunch of producers for this one, including Nathan Chapman and busbee, and you can hear their fingerprints all over it. The result? A slick, polished sound that's bound to get your toes tapping and your head bobbing. Tracks like 'Bartender' and 'Freestyle' are straight-up earworms that'll have you hitting repeat.
Now, some might gripe that the high-octane approach occasionally drowns out those signature harmonies Lady A is known for. And sure, maybe the track order could use a little tweaking. But let's be real - this album is a blast from start to finish. It debuted at number two on both the Billboard 200 and Top Country Albums charts, moving 74,000 units in its first week. Not too shabby for a band willing to shake things up and try something new. - Dylan
