Keith Whitley's 'Don't Close Your Eyes' is a country music gem that'll have you tapping your toes one minute and reaching for the tissues the next. Released in '88, this album was Whitley's swan song, and boy, did he go out with a bang! It's chock-full of honky-tonk stompers and tear-jerking ballads that showcase his incredible vocal range.
