Review
James Bay's 'Electric Light' is a wild ride, y'all! This album is a total departure from his debut, and I'm here for it. Bay's really flexing his creative muscles, blending indie rock with electronic vibes and even throwing in some hip-hop flavors. It's like he took a bunch of different genres, tossed them in a blender, and somehow made it work.
I'm totally digging tracks like 'Wasted on Each Other' and 'Pink Lemonade'. They've got this infectious energy that just makes you want to dance. And can we talk about 'Wild Love'? That song is straight-up fire! The production on this album is so rich and layered - it's clear Bay put his heart and soul into every note.
Now, I'll be honest, not everyone's going to love this album. It's definitely a bit all over the place, and some might find it a bit jarring. But personally, I think that's what makes it so exciting. Bay's not afraid to take risks and push himself creatively. Sure, it might not be perfect, but it's raw, it's real, and it shows an artist who's not content to just rest on his laurels. And for that alone, I think 'Electric Light' deserves some serious props. - Sienna
