Artist Bio
Indigo Sparke is an indie rock musician from Sydney, Australia, who began releasing music in 2016 with her EP Nightbloom after spending time as an actress and growing up in a musical family. Her sound blends reflective songwriting and emotional intensity, drawing on indie rock, folk, and touches of jazz and pop, as heard on her debut album Echo (2021) and its follow-up Hysteria (2022). Sparke has worked with notable collaborators like Adrianne Lenker of Big Thief and Aaron Dessner of The National, and has performed at events including NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert and SXSW. Now based in New York, her music often explores personal themes of love and loss, and sits comfortably alongside artists like Angel Olsen, Sharon Van Etten, and Big Thief. She’s signed to Sacred Bones Records and continues to gain recognition for her evocative songwriting and collaborative projects in the indie and folk scenes.
