Artist Bio

Hailey Whitters is a GRAMMY-nominated country singer-songwriter from Shueyville, Iowa, who moved to Nashville at 17 and has been grinding it out in the music industry for over a decade. She started releasing music in 2015 with her debut album Black Sheep, but really broke through with her 2020 album The Dream and 2022’s Raised, which Rolling Stone named the top country album of that year. Her platinum single “Everything She Ain’t” became her first top-20 hit at country radio and marked her Billboard Hot 100 debut, helping her win the 2023 ACM Award for New Female Artist of the Year. Known for her sharp songwriting and authentic storytelling rooted in her Midwest upbringing, Whitters has toured with major acts like Luke Combs, Shania Twain, and Eric Church, while also writing songs for artists like Little Big Town and Alan Jackson. Her sound fits alongside contemporary country artists who blend traditional storytelling with modern production, and she’s often compared to artists in the Americana and country-folk space for her honest, relatable approach to songwriting.
