Gracie Abrams really hit the nail on the head with her first EP, "minor," which she dropped mid-summer of 2020. Y’know, she wrote all the songs herself, and the way Blake Slatkin handled the production just brings every feeling right up close and personal, like you’re sitting down with her as she tells her story. Those tunes, especially ones like "Friend" and "I Miss You, I’m Sorry," have a way of tugging at your heartstrings, making you feel all the bittersweet twists and turns of love and loss.
Gracie didn’t just stop with releasing the music; she took it on the road with her 'I've Missed You, I'm Sorry' tour across North America and the UK. Hearing those songs live, I bet it was a real treat for folks who could catch her. Plus, she’s got this vinyl version of "minor" coming out, which is pretty neat for anyone who likes to have something they can hold onto. It’s touching how her songs wrap around those hard-to-tell feelings, making "minor" a little treasure trove of emotion that resonates with anyone who’s had their heart dinged up a time or two. - Mia
