Review
You know, I've always had a soft spot for Go West. Their 'Indian Summer' album from '92 takes me right back to those early 90s vibes. It's like a musical time capsule, filled with synths, guitars, and those killer vocal harmonies that were Go West's signature.
The album's got this amazing mix of sounds, thanks to the dream team of producers they brought in. Peter Wolf, Ron Fair, and the boys themselves all had a hand in shaping the record, and it shows in the best way possible. Each track feels like its own little world, but they all come together to create this cohesive, vibrant listening experience.
I mean, who can forget 'King of Wishful Thinking'? That song was everywhere after 'Pretty Woman' hit theaters. But there's so much more to discover on this album. 'Faithful' and 'Still in Love' are total earworms, and 'What You Won't Do for Love' just oozes with that classic Go West charm. Plus, with musical heavyweights like Jeff Porcaro on drums, the whole album just sparkles with polish. It's no wonder it went gold in the UK, hitting number 13 on the charts. 'Indian Summer' might not have set the world on fire, but it's definitely a gem in Go West's crown. - Jennifer
