Artist Bio
Glaive, born Ash Blue Gutierrez in Florida and raised in North Carolina, started releasing music in 2020 by posting hyperpop and glitchcore tracks on SoundCloud from his bedroom. He quickly built a following for his emotionally direct songwriting and genre-blending style, weaving together elements of electronic, pop, alt-rock, and indie folk. Glaive signed to Interscope Records after his debut EP, *Cypress Grove*, and has since released several projects, including *All Dogs Go to Heaven* and his 2023 album *i care so much that i dont care at all*. He’s collaborated with the likes of Travis Barker and Whethan, received media coverage from The New York Times and GQ, and was an opening act for The Kid LAROI in 2024. Fans of artists like 100 gecs, ericdoa, and brakence will find a similar blend of digital experimentation and candid lyricism in glaive’s music.
