Review
I'm so excited to dive into Fuerza Regida's latest album, "PERO NO TE ENAMORES"! This 15-track masterpiece is a game-changer, folks. The group's leader, Jesús Ortiz Paz (aka JOP), was on a mission to shake things up and create something entirely new, and boy, did he succeed! The result is a fusion of EDM, club-centric styles, and their signature sound that will get you moving and grooving.
One of the things that really stands out about this album is its eclectic mix of genres. You'll hear hints of drill and Jersey club in tracks like "FREESTYLE" and "BELLA", which adds a fresh layer of depth to their sound. And while some songs, like "JESUS" and the title track, still have that familiar Fuerza Regida vibe, the overall direction is bold and adventurous. JOP's lyrics still focus on love and relationships, but with a new level of sophistication and nuance.
The production on this album is top-notch, with clever uses of Jersey club 808s and a variety of instruments that add texture and complexity to the tracks. The collaboration with Bellakath on "FRESITA" is a highlight, bringing a new dimension to the song. Overall, "PERO NO TE ENAMORES" is a testament to Fuerza Regida's creativity and their ability to evolve while staying true to their roots. - Ava
