Review
I was completely swept away by Donna Lewis's debut studio album "Now in a Minute" - the way it blends gentle and dreamy tracks with harder pop beats is just magical. The album opens with "Without Love", a soft and soothing track that sets the tone for the rest of the album, featuring layered instruments and an acoustic guitar. I love how the album explores different moods and styles, from the mournful cello in "Simone" to the catchy chorus in "Fools Paradise". The album's soft and wafting atmosphere is maintained throughout, with beautiful piano work and breathy vocals in tracks like "Silent World" and "Lights Of Life".
The standout track for me is definitely "I Love You Always Forever" - Donna Lewis's soft, whispery vocals and the warm mid-tempo melody just make it a hit. I also enjoyed the Philly Remix of this track, which adds a funky beat and makes it the most upbeat track on the album. Overall, "Now in a Minute" is a pleasant listen, with polished production and talented musicians and producers contributing to its sound. While some tracks may blend together, the album's highlights - like "I Love You Always Forever" and "Fools Paradise" - really showcase Donna Lewis's vocal talent and songwriting skills, making it a great debut album. - Ava
