Review

"Demi" by Demi Lovato has become a comfort album for me, one I find myself returning to over and over. The production quality is impressively crisp, serving as the perfect foundation for the diverse range of tracks. It contains a delightful mix of infectious, upbeat pop anthems like "Heart Attack" and "Neon Lights" that invigorate the spirit and get the feet moving. Yet, Demi is also unafraid to slow things down and bare her soul in heartfelt ballads such as "Nightingale" and "In Case," which add a raw and down-to-earth contrast to the record. This balance creates a compelling dynamic throughout the album, and no matter my mood, "Demi" always seems to have the perfect soundtrack for the moment. - Elle
