Review

When it comes to "Listen", David Guetta's 2014 album, it's all about evolution - both personally and musically. Guetta took a chance to reinvent himself after the success of "Nothing but the Beat", and the result is an album that's all about blending different styles and genres. With collabs from artists like Sam Martin, Emeli Sandé, and Sia, "Listen" has a pretty sweet mix of vibes going on. The album's got a more soulful and emotional feel to it, which is refreshing to hear from an EDM artist. From classical to acoustic guitar, Guetta's experimenting with all kinds of sounds.

You can tell Guetta was feeling inspired when he made "Listen", because it's got a pretty unique sound. Tracks like the title song "Listen" and "What I Did for Love" showcase a more mellow side of Guetta, which is pretty cool to hear. The album's got some catchy singles like "Lovers on the Sun" and "Dangerous" that are perfect for getting you pumped up. Overall, "Listen" might not be perfect, but it's definitely a significant album in Guetta's discography - it shows he's not afraid to take risks and try new things. The end result is an album that's all about growth and exploring new musical territory, which is pretty admirable if you ask me. - Derek
