Review

Let me tell you about Cole Swindell's "You Should Be Here". This album is a real tearjerker, especially that title track. I mean, who hasn't felt that ache of missing someone at a big moment? It's like Cole took that feeling and turned it into a country anthem. And boy, did it hit home for people - topping both the Billboard Country Airplay and Hot Country Songs charts. That's no small feat!

But don't think it's all slow and sad. "Flatliner" with Dierks Bentley is a total banger that'll get you moving. It nearly topped the charts too, landing at number two on the US Country Airplay chart. Cole's really got a way of mixing up the vibes, you know? He's got these party tunes right alongside more thoughtful tracks like "Middle of a Memory" and "Remember Boys". That last one really got to me - it's like a handbook for how guys should treat their ladies.

What I love about this album is how it feels both fresh and familiar at the same time. It's got that modern country sound, but you can still hear the roots of the genre in there. And clearly, I'm not the only one who dug it. The album hit number two on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart and even made it to number six on the Billboard 200. It went gold in 2017 and then platinum later on. Not too shabby for a sophomore album, right? Cole really showed us what he's made of with this one. - Sienna
