Artist Bio

Camp Cope is an alternative rock band from Melbourne, Australia, that formed in 2015 and is known for mixing elements of folk-punk and lo-fi pop-punk in their music. They broke through in their home country with their second album, *How to Socialise & Make Friends* (2018), which landed in the Australian Top Ten, and have also released records like their 2016 debut *Camp Cope* and 2022’s *Running with the Hurricane*. The trio gained recognition for their emotionally direct songwriting and feminist themes, building a strong following in Australia and overseas, including a headlining tour in the U.S. Their releases also include live recordings and a split EP with Cayetana. Fans of artists like Waxahatchee, Courtney Barnett, and Diet Cig might appreciate Camp Cope’s candid sound and lyrical style.
