Review

Hey y'all, if you haven't given Big & Rich's debut album, "Horse of a Different Color," a listen, you're missin' out on a real treat. It came out back in May 2004 and it's a wild ride from start to finish. These fellas sure know how to mix things up with a blend of traditional country, country-rap, and some rock influences. And trust me, the tunes like "Wild West Show," "Save a Horse (Ride a Cowboy)," "Holy Water," and "Big Time" are as catchy as a cold in December, and they even made it onto the Billboard charts.

Now, what's really cool about this album is it ain't just them on their own. They've got guest spots from folks like Cowboy Troy, Gretchen Wilson, and Martina McBride - they all bring somethin' special to the table. The songs range from fun party anthems like "Save a Horse" to deeper stuff like tackling domestic abuse in "Holy Water." Overall, the whole album's got a vibrant, lively feel that makes it stand out in country music. So, go on and give it a spin, it's bound to get your boots tappin'. - Mia
