Review

I'm obsessed with "COSMIC", the debut studio album from Bazzi. This album is all about vibe - it's got that dreamy, soulful pop and R&B blend that's just perfect for getting lost in. With 16 tracks and a runtime of about 42 minutes, you've got plenty of time to soak up the twinkling synths, smooth pianos, and euphoric production style that makes each song feel like a wide-eyed serenade. The whole thing is just so charming and romantic, and Bazzi's lyricism is a huge part of that. Whether he's delivering heartfelt compliments or singing about his wildest fantasies, you can't help but be drawn in.

One of the standout tracks on the album has got to be "Mine" - you probably remember it from that Snapchat lens filter that sent it soaring to popularity. It's the perfect example of the album's themes of infatuation and admiration, and Bazzi's affectionate comparisons are just so sweet. The other singles, like "Why?", "Gone", and "Honest", are just as great, and they all maintain this emotional and melodic continuity that makes the whole album feel so cohesive. Bazzi's voice is just warm and intimate, and the production duo Rice 'N' Peas does an amazing job of supporting him throughout the album.

The lyrics on "COSMIC" are all about love, attraction, and youthful dreams - it's like Bazzi is flirting with the idea of fame and relationships, and it's just so relatable. Tracks like "Star" are all about fantasizing about the high life, and Bazzi's delivery is just so effortless and charming. Overall, "COSMIC" is just a fantastic debut album that showcases Bazzi's talent and style. It's no wonder it made a splash on the US Billboard 200 chart and gained traction internationally - it's the perfect introduction to Bazzi's music, and it establishes him as a promising new voice in pop and R&B. - Kaitlyn
